General

The MDM1000/2000DM produces 2D Data Matrix barcode metal tags ideal for:

• Long life tags for electronic data capture using 2D barcode:
  PVC or Mylar tags need to be regularly replaced causing lost time, identification errors and high
  consumables cost.
  Tags are required to have a long working life and will be subject to environmental degradation
• Applications where marking the component or item directly:
  Affects mechanical integrity
  Is too difficult to achieve
  Is too costly (laser)
  Too time consuming affecting production efficiency
